An Attorney And An Academic

After receiving her bachelor's degree in English language and literature from the University of Virginia in 1979, attorney Robin Goff Hallberg went on to receive her law degree, with honors, from the University of Georgia — where she had served as a notes editor of the Georgia Law Review.

After starting her career in law in 1985, Ms. Hallberg became a certified mediator in the early 1990s. She is now a registered mediator and arbitrator with the state of Georgia, and is registered to mediate civil matters of all types, including cases in Georgia's juvenile courts.

Robin Hallberg has practiced in state and federal trial and appellate courts across Georgia. She has practiced both as a solo practitioner and on behalf of law firms in Newnan and Atlanta, including firms such as Alston & Bird. From 2003 to 2004, Ms. Hallberg also served as an administrative law judge for the state of Georgia.

Ms. Hallberg is also secretary of the board of directors of NOA (No One Alone), a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, counseling and other services to domestic violence victims. She is passionate about educating the public about domestic violence in the effort to eradicate it from our community.
